Relocation Service

Recruiting an employee from abroad is a multi-step and complex process. Through the International Talents Boosting Growth relocation service, a newly recruited worker arriving in Finland – as well as their family – can now receive financial support for their relocation up to 80% of the total price of the service.

The International Talents Boosting Growth relocation service consists of three different service packages aimed at SMEs:

  1. The first stage of immigration
  2. Finding a home
  3. Career guidance for a partner or spouse

Costs and service provider

The cost of the service for companies starts at 500 euros (+VAT). The Southwest Finland ELY Centre / Course towards Finland project (ESR) will compensate 80% of the selected services, but no more than 5000 euros (+VAT). The company’s minimum contribution is 20% of the service cost.

The service provider is Finland Relocation Services Oy. The service is available until October 2023.

Who is the service for?

A company can apply for the service when the following conditions are met:

  • Your company is registered in Finland
  • Your company is small or medium-sized
  • Your company is recruiting an employee from abroad with an employment contract for at least one year
  • The person to be recruited has the necessary immigration permits
  • Your company has not received financial aid for similar activities in the last two years
  • Your company meets the requirements for receiving de minimis aid (in Finnish)
